After this weekend, it was especially nice to have a holiday today. We enjoyed an extra day to sleep in and all be home for the holiday, well minus Tom. We’ve been in a rough patch with John Lloyd’s sleep on and off for a few weeks. A good portion of it is teething and possibly a growth spurt at the same time. Regardless, we took advantage of our time to sleep in and got ready this morning and headed to the gym for a quick workout. Lunch was at home and then we enjoyed the sunny, warm weather we’re having with lots of outside time after naps.
Last week Arthur went to stay with my parents for a few days. At first we were worried he would get upset being the only one going, but he was a trooper. This was his first time to be away from all the rest of us and go by himself. He enjoyed his time, and they did too. They had long walks, played a lot, got in some planting in the backyard, and several sweet treats.
Friday night we headed to happy hour and dinner with friends at The Gathering. And afterwards Thomas and Tom had an ice cream treat.
Saturday morning we had grocery shopping to do. Tom took Thomas to a birthday party in the afternoon. And we got Arthur back safe and sound Saturday afternoon. Saturday night was just a relaxed night at home and enjoying us all being back together.

Sunday was church and afterward a trip to Home Depot. Tom took Thomas and Arthur to his dad’s shop to make a bike rack for the garage. More details on the project here. I’m really happy with how it turned out!
