This picture pretty much captures his personality. He’s a baby who wants to be in charge. I think he believes he can do whatever he sees Thomas and Arthur do, including feeding himself and climbing up the slide backwards. And, of course, he’s not quite one and he can’t. And this leads to much frustration!
We’ve been through a rough patch the past few weeks. He’s teething and has what looks to be four more teeth trying to come through. So he’s not sleeping well. And on top of that it seems he’s hit a growth spurt.
Today when I dropped him off at mother’s morning out, his teacher actually said he looked bigger since seeing him on Tuesday.
This afternoon he was back to his jolly self and happily played in the yard. Looking at these picture, he actually looks like he’s grown and seems so much more a little boy than a baby. He’s bigger and harder to get settled when I rock him. He doesn’t curl up as well as he used to. His hair is getting thicker and curling around his ears. And he’ll be walking before we know it.
