My boys have all been in the kitchen with me since they were little helping mix, measure, taste test, etc.

My love of cooking came from my Mamaw. I have so many memories of sitting on here counter watching her. And I love that I’ve gotten to pass that love to my boys.

While the boys don’t all have the same level of interest in cooking or baking, they all love to sit together flipping through cookbooks. It’s so cute to hear their conversations and watch them bond over the experience of a beautiful cookbook.

Here are some of the boys favorite cookbooks so far:

The Official Fablehaven Cookbook: My oldest is a huge fan of Brandon Mull. He loves the Fablehaven series and has even reread the entire series a time or two. When I saw this new cookbook inspired by the characters in the series, I knew he’d love it!

The Official Harry Potter Cookbook: If you have some Harry Potter fans in your house, this is a really fun one. There’s also The Official Harry Potter Baking Book that we’ve checked out from the library a few times. The photographs are awesome in it. The boys loved looking through both of these.

Teen Baking Bootcamp: If there’s one cookbook my oldest(12) has loved the most, this is it! He grabbed this at the library over the summer and has made many of the recipes, and they’ve all turned out amazing. This cookbook was on his Christms list this year.

We love to watch Food Network’s Kids’ Baking Championship as a family. Matthew Merril was on the show a few seasons ago. And I’m blown away by his talent in creating this cookbook.

Super Good Baking For Kids: Again, if you love the Kids’ Baking Championship, you’re probably a Duff Goldman fan. This one is filled with vibrant pictures throughout. I love how he includes fun pages within the book like a whole page devoted to his favorite candies and why.

Super Good Cookies For Kids: Another fun one to look through. There’s a section where Duff explains how he creates a recipe that’s neat. There was also a section on nostalgic food experiences that was fun to read through.

Cookbooks make great birthday of holiday gifts. Also, look for these at your library on your next visit.
