John Lloyd, 10 Months

He greets us with a smile that melts your heart every morning and pretty much any time he catches your eye during the day. We’ve come a long way in 10 months. On one hand it seems like he’s always been a part of us and at the same time it’s been a long 10 months.

He’s got eight teeth and, by the way he’s been acting lately, there’s a few more on the way.

Right now he’s crawling everywhere and pulling himself up to everything. It’s so fun to watch him look at Thomas and Arthur playing and especially when they’re playing “fight” with Tom. His eyes take it all in like he’s studying for when he’s able to really participate.

We’re working on a transition to foods he can pick up and trying out a sippy cup. He’s lukewarm on the idea right now. Dinner is his most unhappy time of the day. He doesn’t know it’s not pleasant for the rest of the people at the table to continuously make loud noise!

We’re so blessed to have him as part of our lives. And I’m so thankful for the hearts that God has given Thomas and Arthur toward him.
