We’re huge fans of audiobooks! Today I’m sharing three recent favorites of ours and a few the boys have loved.
We’ve been big fans of the Narwhal and Jelly graphic novels for years. All my boys love them. My oldest will even sit down and reread them from time to time.
Recently, I got this 5 book set with an Audible credit and, to be honest, I would have paid the full price for this one! There’s a full cast and that takes these books up to another level. They’re so well done!
We’ve been listening to them on the way home from school twice a week. They’re just the perfect length for our drive and they keep all of them entertained and engaged during a tricky time of the afternoon when our youngest is typically disgruntled from being woken up from his nap early.
Another wonderful set of stories with a live cast. I purchased this one through Audible last year on sale. It’s still just under $3, and that’s a fantastic price to add these 4 beloved stories to your collection.
I included these stores in the books we read/listened to in 2020. While my oldest two were reluctant to listen at first, they enjoyed it just as much as the younger boys.
Book #1 in the Peter and The Starcatchers series is narrated by Jim Dale, who also narrated the Harry Potter books. I haven’t listened to this one, but Thomas loved it. I included the Peter and The Starcatchers series in a recent list of middle grade books he’s loved.
It’s a fast paced book filled with adventure, telling the back story of how Peter became Peter Pan.
